Sky Arts’ Access All Arts Week returns for a third year, accompanied by new kids special for Painting Birds
In this special episode, the couple, along with their young companions, venture into gardens, playgrounds, coastlines, and parks to spot and celebrate the birds that brighten our daily lives. The show is filled with engaging activities and special guest appearances, making it a must-watch for art and bird enthusiasts alike.
Watch as Jim collaborates with Harry Hill on bird-inspired paintings, explores ceramics with Alan at Aylesford Pottery, and joins bird watcher David Lindo to share his passion for birds.
SEASON 1:
‘Painting Birds With Jim & Nancy Moir’ is a series for Sky Arts which sees Jim and his wife, Nancy, on an exciting ornithological adventure, travelling across the UK with Jim creating some masterpieces of the unique species of birds that are native to the regions they visit.
In each episode, they meet local bird experts and artists, plus famous artists such as Colin Self and Cornelia Parker, alongside some of Jim’s famous friends including Chris Packham, Jools Holland and Edwyn Collins who all try their hand at creating some art alongside Jim.
